Divorce Recovery Class
This will be a 4 week workshop at the Parker United Methodist Church, but open of course to the community.
The workshop will be based on the book "Rebuilding When Your Relationship Ends".

Boys’ Group (Ages 6-10)
This weekly group will cover issues regarding:
*Friendship
*School-related issues
*Boundaries/impulse control
*Joining groups/working in a group setting
*Problem-solving strategies
*Peers/peer pressure
*Stress reduction techniques
*Staying focused at school, home, etc.
Girls’ Group (Ages 12-15)
This weekly group will cover issues regarding:
*Friendship
*Self-esteem/self-expression
*Peers and peer pressure
*Problem-solving strategies
*Stress reduction techniques
*Joining groups/working in a group setting
*School-related issues
*Boundaries/impulse control
This is an 8-week group. Dates and times to be determined.
Divorce Groups for Children and Adolescents
One 6-week group will be for children (ages 7-11) and the other 6-week group will be for adolescents (ages 12-15) whose parents are divorced or currently going through a divorce. The groups will focus on coping skills and strategies to help your child or adolescent through this challenging time.
$25.00 per session
