HAPPY NEW YEAR to ALL!
I just read that tomorrow, January 3rd, is “Festival of Sleep Day”. Even though it is late afternoon January 2, and the sun is back in beautiful Colorado after an end of year snowstorm, it would be easy to ride on the energy of the day and not pay attention to the Festival of Sleep . However, what a gift we give ourselves tonite and in the new year if we establish regular sleep routines and honor sleep as our friend. Pillow time helps our immune systems strong, decreases inflammation (thereby helping protect against heart attack and stroke) and helps correct hormone imbalances. It also helps brain function and our mental and emotional health. So, it’s early to bed I will go and happy zzz to you all!
